Throughout this process Margarita María had the support and collaboration at all times of her twin sister, Leonor, also a nun, although in the congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity of Vedruna.
Since 1913 she had been stationed in Suipacha, Argentina, but the twins kept up constant correspondence. Their letters show both sisterly affection, with a tender sense of humour, and spiritual confidences and enquiries.
They dealt particularly with matters related to the missions (“the current twinly topic”). They talked about projects and exchanged material and publications… In fact, Leonor established the Pontifical Mission Societies in the Americas.
She died in Suipacha on the 28th of January, 1931. Her canonisation process is currently underway.
